Multimodal hub around AviationValley

AviationValley lies in the Netherlands most southern province, Limburg, right in the heart of Europe. The Businesspark is surrounded by an extensive network of air, rail, water and road links resulting in excellent regional, European and global accessibility.

Of course, in the first place, the new terminal at Maastricht-Aachen Airport offers excellent facilities for transport by air freight. The airport is known for the speed with which it handles freight and its excellent security arrangements. Less than 10 km from the airport, and linked by the A2 motorway, lies the Public Logistic Centre alongside the Juliana Canal. Together with the adjacent port and rail terminal, this complex is part of the multimodal hub for Europe and offers excellent ingoing and outgoing freight handling facilities. Container ships leave the complex daily heading for the Port of Rotterdam.

The access roads serving the business park guarantee direct road links via the A2 motorway, which connects Amsterdam to Maastricht and southern Europe. The A76 motorway going from Antwerp and Brussels towards Germany and Central Europe crosses the A2 only a few kilometres north of the airport. These roads are also directly linked to the new ring road around the airport grounds.
